About Guided Travel Services

Our trained agent remains with the client while assisting, guiding, supervising, and coordinating the client through part of the journey, or during the entire journey. This service is perfect for our clients that are disabled, elderly, or would just like some extra help while traveling. Travelers who are traveling alone and would like a travel partner to join them for their travel experience also utilize our service. We have agents partner with clients for many exciting excursions; our agents partner with golfers, divers, outdoor adventurers, and world travelers. Case Study: Guided Travel Services

Jack and Diane Miller are planning a ten-day trip to Morocco. They have never been to North Africa before and are deciding whether or not to hire an accompanied traveler to assist them. They call the Travel coordinator at The Trusted Traveler who provides Jack and Diane with the specifics for their holiday and they decide to utilize a Background Accompanied Traveler (Shadow Agent) while in Morocco. We dispatch an agent to Miami, Florida. The agent plans the trip to the airport and handles coordination of the luggage to the airport and quickly on through security. The agent handles all of the logistical aspects while at the airport and proceeds with them on the aircraft for their trip to Morocco. Upon landing, the agent checks to see that all immigration and customs forms have been filled out correctly and proceeds with them through passport control and customs. The agent then assumes coordination of the luggage and transportation to the hotel in Casablanca. Once the Millers have checked into the hotel in Casablanca, the agent assumes his role on call and shadows them. He will be available to the Millers at anytime to assist them with any aspect of their trip, but will stay in the background as a third set of eyes to shadow the Millers throughout their journey in Morocco. The agent will not interfere with any aspect of the holiday unless there is an emergency situation or if requested at any time by the Millers. The agent remains in constant vision of the Millers anytime they are out of range of their hotel or designated space. At the conclusion of the holiday, the agent will resume control of logistics and coordinates the journey back home.

What type of documentation does the program require?

Besides all of the releases, a simple agreement form by all parties is all that is necessary for this service.

What happens if the agent is separated from the person they are assisting?

In the rare event that this should happen, every attempt will be made to re-establish contact with the client. The Trusted Traveler agent will have a copy of the itinerary and will be in constant contact with the hiring authority.

I need medical help during my journey.
Can The Trusted Traveler help?

The Trusted Traveler can provide a Traveler Nurse to assist a client with their medical needs. Whether it is for a day, a week, or longer, be assured that our licensed RN's will be able to exceed all of your travel needs.

What are the backgrounds of The Trusted Traveler Agents?

We are highly selective with whom we employ as Trusted Traveler Agents. Most of our agents have extensive travel experience and have backgrounds in Law Enforcement, Registered Nursing, Government Protection, or Military. All of our employees must pass extensive drug and alcohol screening, mental and physical fitness tests, and background checks. We also require that our employees not be addicted to nicotine products.
